Guidelines for students

 

Guidelines for Students

(i) Read the admission brochure carefully, especially the rules related to admission, attendance, hall tickets, and examination.

(ii) Read the notice board daily.

(iii) Always keep your college id with you, as it may be requested anywhere on the college premises.

(iv) Lock your bicycle securely at the bicycle stand. The college will not be responsible in case of theft.

(v) Deposit your fees on the specified date and time. Keep the fee receipt safely with you so that it can be presented if demanded by the office. It will not be returned once submitted.

(vi) Return library books within the stipulated period; otherwise, a late fee will be charged as per the rules.

(vii) Do not misuse or damage college property. Do not pluck flowers, and avoid stepping on the grass in the lawns.

(viii) Contribute to the national tree plantation program.

(ix) Maintain a dignified and respectful behaviour at all times. Remember that adherence to discipline is your duty, and do not allow any laxity in fulfilling this responsibility.

(x) Carry out your work in the office from outside the office window. Do not waste time inside the office.

(xi) Ensure compliance with the prescribed dress code in the college premises.

(xii) All information related to admission will be communicated on the college information board from time to time. No separate information will be sent.

(xiii) Due to COVID-19, maintain social distance (2 yards) in the college and wear a mask covering your nose and mouth.

 

Attendance:

(i) It is mandatory to have a 75% attendance to sit for university exams.

(ii) A 10% relaxation in attendance can be granted by the institution's principal.

(iii) Attendance calculation will commence from the date of college opening and the start of academic sessions.

(iv) In the case of subject changes, attendance from previous subjects will not be combined.

(v) Students should check their attendance every month from the teachers having students in the class in the first week of the month.

 

College Id:

New students must create their college id within 15 days of admission. Existing students should get their letters updated by the main administrator/supervisor. Failure to comply may result in monthly penalties. Students must keep their college id with them at all times. Presenting the introduction letter is mandatory upon request by college authorities. Failure to do so may lead to disciplinary action.

 

College uniform:

For Agriculture department students, a white shirt and black pants are mandatory. For Arts department students, a white shirt and navy-blue pants are compulsory. Female students in both departments must wear a white kurta-salwar with a light green dupatta for Agriculture and a light navy-blue dupatta for Arts.

 

Special Note: Students involved in ragging or any such activity will be expelled from the college in accordance with the orders/decisions of the Honourable Supreme Court, and action will be taken accordingly
