The college motto “Tamso Ma Jyotirgamay” embodies our institution's mission of guiding common and rural people from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge by ensuring quality education and research.

The primary objectives of the institution are:
(i) To provide scientific and formal education in Agricultural Science, Arts, Language, and Humanities to build the character of the youth.
(ii) To empower students to tackle present and future challenges and to uncover and develop their hidden talents.
(iii) To encourage students to adopt a rational approach to the problems they and society face, regardless of caste, creed, gender, or religion.
